June 10, 2026 – As part of a membership software upgrade, the State Bar of Wisconsin is implementing enhanced password requirements to further strengthen account security, align with evolving industry standards, and support ongoing Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance efforts for credit card payments on WisBar.org and WisBar Marketplace.

Beginning June 21, all passwords must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 8 characters;

• Include letters and numbers (alphanumeric);

• Include at least one special character. Allowed characters: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ + ={}[]:;<>,.?/~

If your password already meets these requirements, no action is needed.

If your current password does not meet these updated requirements, you will be prompted to create a new password the next time you log in on or after June 21.

You may update your password at any time before June 21 to ensure a smooth login experience. Update on myProfile or our forgot my password page.
