    Denna A. Flemming, Drake 2007 high honors, has joined the New Berlin office of Accident Fund Holdings Inc. as assistant general counsel. Flemming previously was a shareholder in the worker’s compensation defense practice group at Kasdorf, Lewis & Swietlik S.C., Milwaukee.

    Alison Helland, Iowa 2005, L.L.M. (taxation) Northwestern, has joined Murphy Desmond S.C. in the Madison office and focuses on business law, business succession planning, estate planning, and tax law.

    Martin C. KuhnMartin C. Kuhn, Marquette 2004, has been named a shareholder in Jeffrey S. Hynes & Associates S.C., Wauwatosa, and the firm has changed its name to Hynes & Kuhn S.C. Kuhn continues to focus on all aspects of labor and employment law – representing employees, managers, executives, and small businesses – in matters involving severance and separation agreements, noncompetition agreements, discipline, discrimination, disability and medical leave, exit strategies, mediation, and litigation.

    Karp Law Offices S.C., a Milwaukee-area family law and personal injury law firm, has changed its name to Karp & Iancu S.C.

    K. Scott Wagner, Marquette 1989 cum laude, Andrew G. Frank, U.W. 2002 cum laude, and Anne Morgan Plichta, Northwestern 2000, have formed Wagner Law Group S.C., 839 N. Jefferson St., Suite 400, Milwaukee.     Stuart M. Widman, Northwestern 1974, has started a dispute resolution law practice, Widman Law Offices LLC, Chicago. His background includes commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

    Appointments, Elections

    Randy S. NelsonRandy S. Nelson, Marquette 1977, has been appointed to the Business Planning Committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel for 2016-2017. Nelson’s practice at Weiss Berzowski LLP, Milwaukee, includes estate planning, family business planning, advising service corporations and partnerships, tax planning, and trust administration and probate, and he has taught estate planning for more than 20 years at Marquette University Law School.

    Michele PerreaultMichele Perreault, U.W. 2003 magna cum laude, has been elected to serve on the executive committee of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. and its affiliate DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C. She is a shareholder in the Madison office, practicing in litigation and family law.

    Benjamin S. Wagner, U.W. 2003, has been elected president-elect of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and will become president of the organization in 2017. He is a shareholder at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., Milwaukee, and focuses on plaintiff’s tort trial law.
