Beachy, U.W. 2008, has rejoined Axley Brynelson LLP, Madison, as a partner and member of the litigation and the construction and transportation focus groups, concentrating in eminent domain and condemnation, municipal law, and commercial litigation. She is also experienced in constitutional, environmental, and public-records law. She previously was an assistant attorney general with the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
Andy DeClercq, U.W. 2008 magna cum laude, Andrew Hebl, Michigan State 2008 summa cum laude, and Douglas Witte, U.W. 1989,have been named partners at Boardman & Clark LLP, Madison. DeClercq focuses on labor and employment, employee benefits, and commercial litigation. Hebl represents insurance companies and their insureds in personal injury, property damage, and professional malpractice lawsuits. Witte, who joined the firm in 2015, represents school districts and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law.
Kurt Goehre, U.W. 2009, Steve Krueger, Marquette 2007, and James Ledvina, Marquette 2009, have become partners at Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry S.C., Green Bay. Goehre, a member of the employment law team, practices employment law and general litigation and advises clients on both business and personal matters. Krueger devotes the majority of his practice to representing the needs of businesses and financial institutions while concentrating on general business matters, real estate law, contract negotiation and disputes, and landlord-tenant law. Ledvina is a CPA and earned a master of accountancy degree with an emphasis in tax. Frazier, U.W. 1965, have joined Davis & Kuelthau s.c. in its Milwaukee and Brookfield offices. DiUlio, Frazier, Greene, Hein and Salomon, along with several of their staff members, formerly practiced as Godfrey, Braun & Frazier LLP.
Salomon, a shareholder with the corporate team, represents clients in areas including estate-plan development and implementation, gift and estate tax advice, probate and trust administration, business acquisition, formation and succession planning, general corporate, and real estate matters.
Hein, of counsel to the litigation team, focuses on general corporate and commercial litigation matters, including the prosecution and defense of professional liability claims; shareholder, partnership, trust, and estate dispute resolution; intellectual property claims; real estate transactions; and general trade and commercial matters.
Greene, of counsel to the litigation and health care team, focuses in areas including products liability, railroad litigation, and civil appeals; her clients include large corporations, small business owners, and professionals in litigation, as well as individuals in estate planning.
DiUlio, a senior attorney with the litigation team, focuses his practice on commercial and personal injury defense litigation, railroad law, and eminent domain in federal and state courts.
Frazier, a shareholder with the litigation team, focuses in manufacturing, wholesale grocery, transportation, and railroad industries and has experience in corporate, management-side labor, litigation including defense of products liability, medical, architects and engineers errors and omissions, railroad FELA and crossing cases, estate planning and development, and representation and administration of trusts and private foundations.
Pfeil, a shareholder with the litigation team, joined the firm from McNally & Peterson. He is experienced in resolving disputes over title to land for national title companies and their insured owners and lenders and performing loan workouts and complex foreclosure actions for financial institutions, and he represents residential builders and remodelers, homeowners, commercial builders, and developers in related disputes.
Matthew Feery, Illinois 2007, has joined Goldstein & McClintock LLLP in its Chicago and Milwaukee offices. Feery, formerly with Gonzalez, Saggio & Harlan LLP, is a labor and employment attorney and routinely advises clients on data privacy and business intelligence issues.
Katherine Harrell, U.W. 2008, has joined the Madison office of Stafford Rosenbaum LLP as a senior associate, focusing on family law and estate planning matters, including divorce litigation, cooperative divorce and legal separation, child custody and placement, paternity, child support, and estate planning, including the drafting of prenuptial or marital property agreements. She is trained in and practices collaborative divorce law and also is a guardian ad litem in family law matters.
Cynthia Herber, Pennsylvania 1993, has joined La Fleur Law Office S.C., Milwaukee, and focuses on divorce, civil litigation, criminal law, and guardian ad litem work. She also is a certified court interpreter.
Paul D. Kuglitsch, Marquette 2008 cum laude, has become a Milwaukee County deputy corporation counsel. He previously held the positions of assistant corporation counsel and contract services officer with the county.
Michael Laufenberg, Marquette 1995, has joined Keberle & Patrykus LLP, West Bend, as a partner and continues to concentrate in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation statewide. The firm is now known as Keberle, Patrykus & Laufenberg LLP.
Brenton Martell, Indiana Univ.-Bloomington 2014, has joined the Madison office of Strang, Patteson, Renning, Lewis & Lacy s.c. He represents public and private sector clients in labor and employment law, school and higher education law, and municipal law.
Malinda J. Eskra, Marquette 2007 cum laude, and Shawn E. Lovell, U.W. 2010, have joined the litigation practice of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren SC, with the Milwaukee and Madison offices, respectively. Before joining Reinhart, Eskra spent six years as a law clerk for the Hon. Kitty K. Brennan at the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District 1, and two years as a law clerk to the Hon. William E. Callahan Jr., at the U. S. District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin. Lovell previously was a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps, as a criminal defense counsel and legal assistance attorney. Before his service in the Marine Corps, Lovell served as an appointed special prosecutor at the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office.
Stephen W. Sawyer, Notre Dame 1996 cum laude, has joined Maroney & Parry LLC, Waupaca, focusing on criminal defense as well as areas of civil practice.

Jordan C. Corning, U.W. 2011 cum laude, has been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He is a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation, Trade Regulation & Antitrust, and Intellectual Property Litigation teams at the Madison office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. He helps businesses and individuals navigate the realm of complex litigation to achieve favorable results. Corning’s experience includes contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, ERISA defense, trade secrets, labor disputes, construction disputes, and general litigation.
David G. Hanson, U.W. 1992, been named Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C.’s 2015 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Each year, the firm recognizes a lawyer who best demonstrates its commitment to serve those otherwise unable to obtain needed legal services.
Hanson, a litigation shareholder in the Milwaukee office, accepted an appointment from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, volunteering his services to represent a prisoner suing for violations of his civil rights. Hanson also was recognized for other pro bono activities, including frequent volunteer legal work at the Milwaukee Justice Center’s Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic. Hanson leads the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice and works closely with business clients on intellectual property and competition issues, protecting and promoting his clients in competitive national and international markets.
Scott Paler, U.W. 2005 cum laude, a partner in the Madison office of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., was recognized as the exclusive winner in the area of employment and benefits in Wisconsin by the 2016 Client Choice Awards. He has extensive experience advising companies on employment issues such as hiring processes, wage and hour practices, noncompete agreements, disciplinary investigations, and terminations. Paler has also developed a niche expertise in background screening.
