Platform Statement

As a transactional attorney, I must confess that I was a bit surprised to be asked to consider running for the Wisconsin Judicial Council. That said, I believe that my service on the council would add to the diversity of perspectives among the Council members. Bringing a transactional attorney’s perspective to the Council’s activities may be of some benefit as the Council works to make its recommendations regarding the structure, administration, and operations of the state’s judicial system. And, if I ever feel like I am out “over my skis” a bit, I am sure that my litigation colleagues at Ruder Ware will be happy to share their views with me!
