    Beth M. BrockmeyerJanna L. SorgatzBeth M. Brockmeyer, Marquette 1995, and Janna L. Sorgatz, Marquette 2021, have joined Cramer Multhauf LLP, Waukesha. Brockmeyer handles foreclosure, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, real estate, and general practice matters. Sorgatz handles civil and commercial litigation matters, trust and fiduciary disputes, political and election law, and appellate work.

    Kelli N. Ford, Quinnipiac 2015 cum laude, has joined Lindner Law LLC, Milwaukee, as a litigation associate in the personal injury practice. Ford has seven years’ multistate personal-injury-law experience practicing in Connecticut, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

    Liam GilhoolyLiam Gilhooly, Marquette 2022, has joined Wilson Law Group, Madison, as an associate and practices in estate planning and post-death administration.

    Olivia K. HansenOlivia K. Hansen, Marquette 2022, has joined Fox, O’Neill & Shannon S.C., Milwaukee, and provides services within the firm’s taxation and business groups.

    Michelle M. Greendeer-Rave, U.W. 1998, and Wendi A. Huling, U.W. 2001, have become associate judges of the Ho-Chunk Nation. Judge Greendeer-Rave previously worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation for over 25 years as tribal attorney, focusing on matters including litigation, business and gaming counsel to casino enterprises and tribal operations, real estate acquisitions and sales, land-into-trust applications, tribal defense, the Indian Child Welfare Act, elder law, housing law, gaming compact negotiations, and taxation. She also provided pro bono representation for veterans with disabilities and researched Ho-Chunk/Winnebago history for educational presentations.

    Judge Huling previously worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation for over 20 years as tribal counsel, concentrating in matters involving the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and gaming commission regulation, personnel matters, contract review, and litigation. She also focused on assisting tribal members with her supervisory management skills and health insurance appeal knowledge and helped strengthen disability rights for tribal members.

    Individuals recently elected to partnership at Quarles & Brady LLP include the following, all based in Milwaukee. Richard B. Davis, U.W. 2015, is a member of the Health & Life Sciences Practice Group. Davis advises clients on a wide range of pharmacy regulatory issues and helps them navigate the pharmacy benefit manager landscape. He also has extensive experience with the 340B drug-pricing program and has worked with contract pharmacies and covered entities to develop and optimize their participation. Elizabeth Gebarski, Marquette 2013, is a member of the Health & Life Sciences Practice Group. She counsels clients on health care regulatory and compliance issues, business development, government program enrollment issues, and licensing issues. Her work includes counseling on health care transactions, pharmaceutical industry matters, and Medicare and Medicaid program compliance from the provider and plan perspectives.

    Jake Lichter, Georgetown 2014, is a member of the Public Finance Practice Group. He assists state and local governments with their financing needs while serving as bond counsel in connection with the issuance of general obligation and revenue backed debt. Lichter also advises on tax incremental financing and development matters. Lora L. LoCoco, Marquette 2011, is a member of the Product Liability Practice Group. She represents and advises manufacturers, distributors, and rental companies nationwide in various industries, including heavy equipment, transportation, medical devices, and consumer products. She also practices in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on indemnification and insurance coverage claims and litigation.

    Patrick Proctor-Brown, U.W. 2015, is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He handles general civil and commercial litigation matters, with a focus on public utility regulation, litigation, and transactions for franchisors and distributors, and insurance coverage work on behalf of policyholders. He also is experienced in professional malpractice litigation and business litigation. Jonathan Stone, Marquette 2012, is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. He works closely with clients to develop intellectual property strategies that drive commercial value in complex technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, medical imaging, health information technology, radiation therapy, and nuclear physics.

    Kevin J. ClarkMaeve G. O’MalleyFive attorneys have joined von Briesen & Roper s.c. Kevin J. Clark, Marquette 2016 cum laude, is a shareholder in the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group in the Waukesha office. Clark focuses on civil litigation in construction, real estate, land use, and development matters representing developers, construction companies, commercial real estate brokerages, and municipalities. He also has significant experience in fiduciary litigation, estate litigation, and trust and estate disputes. Maeve G. O’Malley, Marquette 2023 cum laude, is an associate and member of the Labor & Employment Section in the Waukesha office and works with private employers and governmental entities on a wide range of employment matters.

    Timothy J. ProueTimothy J. Proue, Western Michigan Univ. 2008, is a shareholder in the Business Practice Group in the Eau Claire office. Proue counsels business and institutional clients on business formation, bylaws and governance, contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and employment. He also has significant experience working with nonprofit and religious organizations.

Melissa L. Weinstein, Marquette 2023 cum laude, is an associate with the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group in the Milwaukee office and focuses on commercial and business litigation including shareholder disputes, breach of contract matters, and business torts.

    Mergers, Relocations, New Associations

    The law firm formerly known as Crivello Carlson has a new name: Crivello, Nichols & Hall S.C. The firm began as a two-lawyer partnership in a small office space in downtown Milwaukee in 1948 and has grown into a firm of nearly 50 attorneys in eight offices, providing legal services throughout the United States.

    Trifecta General Counselhas become part of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. Founded in Madison in 2017, Trifecta has served clients with health technology law matters, focusing on contract negotiation, technology licensing, digital health technology, and TCPA and HIPAA compliance. Trifecta created a fixed, monthly subscription model, which allowed the Trifecta team to collaborate with clients as a valued partner with an understanding of industry operations and by eliminating concerns with hourly rates and sometimes vague project budgets. This offering will continue with Michael Best.

    Andrew G. BriggsThomas S. SeelenFormer Trifecta attorneys joining Michael Best include Andrew G. Briggs, U.W. 2011, and Thomas S. Seelen, Mitchell Hamline 2010. Briggs concentrates in counseling health and health technology companies with a focus on data privacy and security and compliance. His clients include health tech startups to Fortune 500 businesses, as well as healthcare systems, insurers, and telehealth companies across the U.S. Seelen focuses on reviewing information technology contracts, professional services agreements, business associate agreements, and statements of work. He has served as a member of the United States Army Reserves since 2013.

    Pro Bono, Public Service

    The Wisconsin Equal Justice Fund presented awards to a retired tribal court judge and a legal services worker at its annual dinner, held in Madison in November. Award recipient David Raasch is a former chief judge of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans Tribal Court and is board chair for Judicare Legal Aid. Award recipient Phoua Yang is client services director at Judicare Legal Aid.
