44th Annual Family Law Workshop, hosted by the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Family Law Section, is once again in August at the Stone Harbor Resort in Door County.
The conference provides an opportunity to receive CLE credits in family law-focused programming along with an opportunity to socialize with family law practitioners and experts from around the state.
Three Days of CLE and Networking
The Family Law Workshop offers up to 14 CLE credits from workshops and presentations on family law topics, divided into two tracks. Themes this year are “teens and custody/placement issues,” and “intimate partner violence in family court.”
Sessions include:
Case Law, Legislative, and Family Law Update
Best Practices for Motions in Family Law for Judges
Drafting, Negotiating, and Challenging Marital Property Agreements
The Intersection of Bankruptcy and Divorce
Developments in Family Law; and
Preparing a Client for a Temporary Order Hearing
