New Hires, Promotions, Partners
Four attorneys have been promoted to partner at Amundsen Davis LLC. Danielle Snyder Fadel, Marquette 2017, focuses on corporate law in the Milwaukee office. Fadel advises companies and business owners on complex legal and business matters, including business formation, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions across multiple industries. She drafts and negotiates contracts, including stock purchase and asset purchase agreements, reviews transaction documents, and performs due diligence.
Timothy J. Feldhausen, George Washington Univ. 2001, focuses on corporate law in the Green Bay office. Feldhausen concentrates on complex legal and business matters, including asset and stock purchase transactions for business, licensing, transportation, franchising, and dealership issues. He counsels clients on the structuring of business entities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, franchise and dealership law, commercial finance, and private equity.
Jason R. Just, Minnesota 2016, focuses on business litigation in the Green Bay office. Just litigates business and professional matters, including construction defects, contract disputes, liability defense, patent litigation, and civil rights defense for law enforcement and municipalities. He also serves as general counsel for manufacturing companies and construction companies.
Tiffany E. Woelfel, U.W. 2016, focuses on business litigation in the Appleton and Green Bay offices. Woelfel litigates state and federal civil matters, including ones arising in business, finance, environmental, intellectual property, employment, and civil rights law and ranging from contract disputes and employee issues to trade secrets and intellectual property matters.
John H. Healy, U.W. 2014, has joined DiRenzo & Bomier LLC, Neenah, as a shareholder. Healy’s practice areas include plaintiffs’ personal injury, worker’s compensation (for applicants), business and commercial, employment, administrative, municipal law, and general civil litigation.
Nicholas (Nick) Behrens, U.W. 2018 magna cum laude, has joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as senior counsel in the Corporate Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. Behrens’s practice is centered on advising buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and helping clients navigate complex investment, joint venture, and other business transactions. Behrens also counsels clients on corporate governance and federal securities laws matters. Behrens’s mergers and acquisitions experience ranges from multi-billion-dollar buyouts and public company mergers to small-cap private equity add-on acquisitions.
Kirk Fedewa, Marquette 2014 cum laude, has been promoted to partner at Watton Law Group S.C., Milwaukee. Fedewa has extensive experience helping people retain their homes in the face of foreclosure, assisting clients with debt restructuring and reorganization, and all aspects of bankruptcy law, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
Bryn I. Baker, Marquette 2019, has been promoted to partner with First Albrecht & Blondis S.C., Milwaukee, and continues to focus on civil rights, employment law, and personal injury. Kendall A. Means, Marquette 2023, has joined the firm as an associate and focuses on civil rights, employment law, and personal injury.
Austin J. Malinowski, Marquette 2020 magna cum laude, has joined the litigation department at Moss & Barnett, A Professional Association, Minneapolis. Malinowski represents clients on a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, and inheritance litigation. Before joining Moss & Barnett, he took on a wide variety of litigation matters at a full-service law firm in Milwaukee. Malinowski has a Sports Law Certification from the National Sports Law Institute.

Aaron Kornblum, U.W. 1996, has opened Kornblum Legal PLLC, Mercer Island, Wash., focused on corporate and litigation matters for crypto, technology, and security clients.
Appointments, Elections
Katherine Harrell, U.W. 2008, has been elected managing partner at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, Madison. Harrell is a family law attorney with a practice focused on divorce litigation, cooperative divorces, mediation, legal separations, child custody and placement, paternity, child support, third-party visitation issues, and guardian ad litem matters. Jessica Mederson, Texas 2002 high honors, Order of the Coif, has been elected to Stafford Rosenbaum’s board. Mederson practices business law and litigation, including manufacturing and construction disputes, Uniform Commercial Code litigation, contract negotiations and disputes, and legal issues relating to climate change resiliency in the built environment. Denasha Scott, U.W. 1997 magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, has been reelected to a fourth term on the board. Scott practices in the areas of trusts and estates, foundations and nonprofits, and business law.

Pro Bono, Public Service
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c has pledged to give $150,000, over five years, to the Milwaukee Justice Center (MJC) to support the MJC’s mission to address the unmet legal needs of Milwaukee County’s low-income unrepresented litigants through court-based programs and legal resources. Reinhart’s multiyear commitment reinforces the MJC’s ability to provide essential legal self-help resources, one-to-one guidance, and ongoing court-based assistance. The MJC is a collaborative project between the Milwaukee Bar Association, Milwaukee County, and Marquette University Law School. In 2022, 350-plus volunteers provided more than 9,000 hours of pro bono service, totaling more than $1.35 million in free legal services for the community.
Retirements
Steven E. Hendrix, U.W. 1987, LL.D. Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, Bolivia, SJD Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, and Solicitor and Barrister – Ghana School of Law, has retired from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he served as the Senior USAID Coordinator for Foreign Assistance. He has joined the editorial board of the Foreign Service Journal and has joined Counterpart International, a nonprofit organization. Hendrix is licensed in Guatemala, Bolivia, Ghana, and the U.S., including the Court of International Trade, and has litigated in international forums.
