April 3, 2024 – This month, State Bar of Wisconsin members elect a president-elect, a secretary, a Judicial Council representative, district governors, and division and section officers and board members.
All State Bar elections (including for State Bar divisions and sections) will be held via an electronic ballot in 2024, starting April 11, 2024. The election closes at noon Central time on April 26, 2024.
The winning candidates assume their offices July 1, 2024.

The State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors influence the future of the State Bar as well as set its policy direction. Your vote for these candidates will make a difference in the future of your practice and your profession.
State Bar members will elect Board of Governor representatives during April. The Board of Governors is the State Bar's policymaking body. Governors serve two-year terms.
Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 16 will elect governors in 2024. District 2 (Milwaukee) elects five; District 6 (Waukesha) elects two; District 9 (Dane) elects four; and all other districts elect one.

State Bar members with no email address on file will receive paper ballots. Paper ballots will be mailed on April 10, 2024.
