The Dane County Bar Association shares with the Milwaukee Bar Association the honor of being the oldest bar organization in Wisconsin, both predating the State Bar of Wisconsin by some twenty years. Because it contains the State Capitol, Dane County always has been particularly attractive to lawyers. Some of the leading figures in Wisconsinís legal and political history have been Association members.
Established more than 100 years ago, the Eau Claire County Bar Association has grown to more than 200 reputable voluntary members, including a four-person elected board of officers, and seven-person executive committee. The Eau Claire County Bar consists of attorneys from throughout the Eau Claire area who are devoted to serving the local community.
The La Crosse County Bar Association (LCBA) has more than 150 members serving the legal needs of the La Crosse area.
The Milwaukee Bar Association aids in the administration of justice, promotes high standards of learning and professional conduct, provides opportunities for law-related community service and fosters collegiality within the legal community.

The Sauk County Bar Association (SCBA) meets from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Monday of the month for lunch. From January through March the meeting location varies. From April through December the meeting location is the Driftless Glen Distillery, 300 Water St., Baraboo, Wisconsin.
To inquire or to join the SCBA, contact an association officer. Annual membership dues are: $20. Dues are collected in July as our association year runs from July to June.

Membership in the Waukesha County Bar Association is open to any attorney or judicial officer. Most of our members either live or practice in Waukesha County, but this is not a prerequisite to membership!
