Four Wisconsin Court of Appeals judges have been selected to serve on 
the Government Accountability Board's candidate 
  committee, which will nominate individuals to serve on the board. 
Committee members are the Hon. Patricia S. Curley, 
Marquette 1973, District I; the Hon. Neal P. 
Nettesheim, Marquette 1966, District II; the Hon. 
Gregory A. Peterson, U.W. 1973, District III; and the 
Hon. Margaret J. Vergeront, U.W. 1975, District IV. The 
judges' names were picked from a hat by 
  Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson. The board replaces the current State 
Elections and State Ethics boards and will administer the 
  state's election, campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws.
Michael P. Maxwell, Marquette 2001, has been elected 
vice chair of the Landmark Credit Union board. He is 
  managing partner of Maxwell Jones LLP, Milwaukee.
Dan Miske, DePaul 1985, has been elected president

John Pray, U.W. 1986, has been appointed to the
