To have your claim considered, you must submit a complete application for reimbursement. A complete application includes the following:
- The amount you are requesting;
- Documentation showing that your attorney possessed the money or property you are seeking;
- Documents to support your loss, such as written fee agreements, cancelled checks, receipts, or other papers showing that your attorney received money or property.
- Notarization. You must sign your application in front of a Notary Public.
Claims must be submitted by the application deadline to be considered at the next committee meeting.
