The Winnebago County Bar Association is an organization of attorneys who live or practice in Winnebago County Wisconsin. Winnebago County is located on the Western shore of Lake Winnebago, with its county seat located in Oshkosh.
The Winnebago County Bar Association has been in existence for over 100 years. The Winnebago County Bar Association meets monthly from September through May at Noon on the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings take place at Robbins Restaurant, Oshkosh, WI. In the months of September through April, a one-hour CLE program is a part of the meeting. Other than the cost of the lunch, there is no charge for the CLE program for members.
In addition to the meetings, members are also involved with a variety of opportunities designed to give back to the community. This year the Winnebago County Bar Association held a clothing drive for the Community Clothes Closet in Menasha; provided free legal advice through a Hometown Hotline; collected contributions for the Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Shelter; provided scholarships to three area high schools; supported Mock Trial as volunteer judges; and organized Law Day activities for hundreds of school students.
Members of the Winnebago County Bar Association also enjoyed social events organized by local law firms to encourage camaraderie among colleagues and to promote courtesy and decorum within the Bar.
