Platform Statement

It is a great honor to be nominated by the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Nominating Committee to run for a seat on the Judicial Council. The Judicial Council is a 21-member body whose responsibilities are to study and make recommendations relating to court pleading, practice and procedure, as well as the administration and operation of the courts.

I have had the fortunate pleasure to practice in municipal, circuit, federal, and appellate courts, whether as a municipal prosecutor or representing employers at each stage of litigation. Each level of our judicial system has a unique feel to it and the work of the Judicial Council to ensure parity and ease of participation for litigants, especially those without counsel, is vital.

If elected, I intend to actively engage with members of the State Bar and citizens of Wisconsin navigating our court system so that they too can have a voice in policies and procedures effecting attorneys and those they represent.
