    Part-Time Assistant City Attorney

    ​The City of Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a talented attorney with two to five years of experience who is interested in serving who is interested in serving the City of Racine, part-time, on matters of general municipal law and municipal court prosecution under Wisconsin law and Racine ordinances. The selected attorney will represent the City as opportunities are delegated by the City Attorney. This is a part-time position that requires an average of 15 to 20 hours of work per week.

    Applicants must hold a minimum of a juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school, have a Wisconsin law license in good standing, and have at least two years of legal experience. Superior research and writing skills and attention to detail are required. 

    The 2026 starting hourly pay range for the position will be $43.27 to $46.99. Starting pay is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
