We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team.
Position Overview:
If you are a new lawyer, whether recently barred or awaiting a bar admittance, and you have a strong desire to serve those who have served our country, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn about the ins and outs of administrative law and the Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA).
Master the complexities of Veterans Benefits practice.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment, demonstrating the ability to learn from all levels of staff.
Develop skills to manage a team, with growth as your ultimate goal.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (or eligible to obtain the same within the next six months).
VA Accreditation (or eligible to become accredited - this requires an extensive background investigation).
Active bar membership in good standing (or eligible to obtain the same within the next six months).
Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
This job requires you work on-site for the first six months at our Racine, Wisconsin location. After six months, a hybrid schedule will be considered.
