    Assistant City Attorney

    The City of Green Bay Law Department is seeking a collaborative, motivated Assistant City Attorney to join our legal team! This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make a direct impact on our community while working on a diverse range of legal issues and projects that shape the future of our city.

    This position is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and the City also covers the cost of State Bar membership and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.

     

    Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., plus additional hours as needed, including some evening meetings.  Opportunity to work remotely typically 1-day per week.

     

    Hiring Range: $86,590 - $94,245

     

    Qualifications:

    ·       Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school.

    ·       1-3 years of experience in municipal law and legislation preferred.

    ·       License to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.

    ·       Admitted to practice law in federal courts at the time of hire or within 1 year of hire date.

    ·       Compliance with continuing education requirements.

    ·       Notary public commission.

    ·       Must have acceptable personal and professional history as determined by successfully completing a background investigation.
