Husch Blackwell, a full-service law firm, has an immediate opening in our Austin, Denver, Kansas City, Madison, Milwaukee, or St. Louis offices for a Corporate Associate with a minimum of four years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a general corporate background, with experience in M&A and securities transactions, corporate governance, and commercial contracting. The position will work significantly with attorneys in our Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education strategic business unit, so prior experience in the healthcare industry is desirable, but not mandatory.
The candidate must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation range for this position in Denver is $215,000 to $235,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus. In addition, employees receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision.
