    In-House Real Estate Attorney

    How your role fits into Boldt:

    Boldt Holdings, an affiliate of The Boldt Company, specializes in the development of healthcare and senior living facilities throughout the United States. Due to recent growth and an increase in client needs, the company is seeking an in-house corporate attorney with real estate law experience. The position’s primary responsibilities include working with the company’s development and asset management teams in the acquisition of land and properties, arranging joint ventures and financing transactions, and preparing and administering leases.

    What you get to do:

    The Corporate Attorney’s primary responsibilities will include:

    • Preparing and / or negotiating:

    • Land Purchase and Sale Agreements

    • Ground Leases

    • Development Agreements

    • Joint Venture Operating Agreements

    • Master leases / suite leases

    • Loan documents

    • Oversight of the portfolio’s insurance program

    • Coordinating due diligence for loan closings, refinancing transactions and acquisitions

    • Managing any litigation that may arise

    • Initially, the position involves working directly with the company’s president and asset management team.

    What we expect from you:

    Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate law.

    Physical requirements and working conditions:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to optimally communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds. The working condition of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances.
