Husch Blackwell, a national law firm, has an immediate opening for a Traditional Labor-Focused Labor & Employment Associate with five to seven years of experience. Milwaukee or St. Louis are preferred locations, but we will consider candidates for offices in other markets. The ideal candidate will have substantial labor law experience, including union organizing campaigns, union representation elections, collective bargaining negotiations, unfair labor practice proceedings, and labor arbitrations. Additional relevant experience would include litigation of various employment issues, including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims, before government agencies as well as state and federal courts.
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior communications skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. Candidates should also have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
