Applications are being accepted for a full-time City Attorney. This position provides legal services in the City of Baraboo. The City Attorney will be responsible for advising City officials, will conduct all the law business in which the City is interested and serves as prosecutor for the City.
Requirements include:
Education: Graduation from a college or university of recognized standing with a Juris Doctor Degree required.
Experience: Between five to ten years of experience required. The successful candidate will have experience in the practice of law, preferably considerable municipal law, prosecuting or defending ordinance and criminal violations.
Certifications/Licenses: Possession of a license to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.
Salary commensurate with experience, pay range is $76,564 to $99,528 plus an excellent benefit package.
