If so Monroe County’s Corporation Counsel Dept. is looking for a full-time Assistant Corporation Counsel. Successful candidates will have a Juris Doctor Degree and be licensed to practice law in state of Wisconsin. Three years in practice of law is preferred.
Our Assistant Corporation Counsel provides legal counsel for all civil matters involving the county, County Board, and county departments. This position also litigates child support, mental and alcohol commitments, guardianships, protective placements, child in need of protection and services, paternity cases, truancy cases, zoning and sanitation violations, and various collection actions.
