The law firm of Burnett, McDermott, Jahn, King & DesRochers seeks a Wisconsin-licensed attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join an established practice. Experience with commercial disputes and personal injury required, and experience representing financial institutions in collection litigation a plus.
Burnett, McDermott, Jahn, King & DesRochers is the oldest law firm in Calumet County and has built a strong and loyal client base throughout the Fox River Valley for more than a century. This position offers a unique opportunity for the right attorney, with partnership possible within two to three years. Potential immediate partnership available for the right candidate.
No book of business necessary, and compensation is commensurate with experience.
A strong candidate will have experience in taking and defending depositions as well as briefing and arguing motions. The ideal candidate will be actively seeking that experience, as the firm’s litigation practice is consistently busy and thus looking for a new member to make an immediate impact. The firm’s attorneys, with a combined 150 years of legal experience, also hold leadership positions within the community and seek a colleague committed to doing good work, while doing good.
