The City of Racine is seeking candidates for the position of Deputy City Attorney. The selected attorney will perform legal duties at the discretion of the City Attorney.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is dedicated to public service and who wants to avoid the business and politics of private practice. The capacity and experience to undertake a leadership role is required. The ability to assume the office’s real estate or litigation practice is strongly preferred. Applicants must hold a minimum of a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and have a Wisconsin law license and at least 10 years of legal experience. The current salary range for the position is $91,041 to $117,062. Starting salary is negotiable. Candidates will be required to complete one or more panel interviews.
