Winn S. Collins, U.W. 2003, is the 2004 recipient of the Hon. Charles Dunn Author Award, presented annually by the State Bar Communications Committee. His article, "Looks Can Be Deceiving: Safeguards for Eyewitness Identification," appeared in the March 2004 Wisconsin Lawyer. The award will be presented at the Volunteer Lawyers Recognition program, held during the State Bar's annual convention, on May 4, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Winn S. Collins, U.W. 2003, is the 2004 recipient of the
Hon. Charles Dunn Author Award, presented annually by the State Bar
Communications Committee. His article, "Looks Can Be Deceiving:

Collins is with the Outagamie County District Attorney's Office.
The award, named after Wisconsin's first chief justice, recognizes
writing excellence in Wisconsin Lawyer articles.
The following attorneys received certificates of commendation for
articles printed in the Wisconsin Lawyer in 2004: William E.
Hanrahan, Hamline 1988, authored "Seeking Justice in Death's Waiting
Room: Barriers to Effectively Prosecuting Crime in Long-Term Care
Facilities" (August 2004). He is with the Wisconsin Department of
Justice, Madison. Steven L. Nelson, Marquette 1990, and Jane
C. Schlicht, Marquette 1983, coauthored "Upholding the Sanctity of
the Attorney-Client Privilege" (December 2004). Nelson and Schlicht are
