John L. Barlament, Duke 1997, has joined the
Milwaukee office of Quarles & Brady LLP as a partner in the employee
benefits group, representing employers, third-party administrators,
brokers, and benefit consultants.
Adam S. Bazelon,
Marquette 2007 cum laude, has joined the Law Firm of Jonathan B. Levine,
Milwaukee, and focuses on condominium law and real estate
litigation.
Lora L. Chupita, Marquette 2011, has joined Rose &
deJong S.C., Milwaukee, as an associate and focuses on commercial and
civil litigation.
Meghan M. Coffey,
Marquette 2011, has joined Ryan Kromholz & Manion S.C., Brookfield,
as an associate.
Joseph T. Ganzer,
U.W. 2000, has joined the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District as a
staff attorney focusing on litigation, real estate, and employment
matters. He previously was an assistant attorney general in the
Wisconsin Department of Justice.

associate and focuses on construction, real estate, and insurance

Anne S. McIntyre, Northern Illinois 2007 magna cum
laude, has joined Nelson, Irvings & Waeffler S.C., Wauwatosa, as an
associate and concentrates in elder law, probate, and disability
planning. She previously was with the Legal Aid Society of
Milwaukee.
Walter N. Neta, Marquette 2004, has been promoted to
shareholder at Olson, Kulkoski, Galloway & Vesely S.C., Green Bay,
and continues to emphasize worker’s compensation, Social Security
disability, and long-term disability litigation.
David P. Renovitch, U.W. 2001, has joined Danna
McKitrick P.C., St, Louis, Mo., and focuses on civil litigation,
especially title litigation, recoupment, and mechanic’s lien
litigation.
Danielle M. Schroder, U.W. 2011, has joined Hawks
Quindel S.C., Madison, as an associate and practices labor and
employment law.
Rose Simon, Marquette 2011, has joined Petit &
Dommershausen SC, Menasha, as an associate and focuses on criminal
defense, juvenile law, and family law.

April. Jeffery L. Anderson, Oklahoma City 1998, Polk
County Circuit Court, previously was in private practice. Daniel
J. Bissett, Dayton 1992, Winnebago County Circuit Court,
previously was a Winnebago County court commissioner.
Lloyd V. Carter, Marquette 1986, Waukesha
County Circuit Court, previously was a Waukesha County assistant
district attorney. Michael K. Moran, U.W. 1991,
Marathon County Circuit Court, previously was an assistant state public
defender. Mark T. Slate, U.W. 1999, Green Lake County
Circuit Court, previously was in private practice. W. Andrew
Voigt, U.W. 2000, Columbia County Circuit Court, previously was
Portage city attorney. The Hon. Pedro Colón,
U.W. 1994, Milwaukee County Circuit Court, and the Hon. Angela
W. Sutkiewicz, Marquette 1986, Sheboygan County Circuit Court,
won full terms to their respective seats. Both were appointed in 2010 by
former Gov. Jim Doyle to fill vacancies.

Nancy K. Baker,
Illinois 1986, has opened the Baker Law Office, 1512
11th St., Monroe, and focuses on estate planning and probate.
Andrea Guenther-Pal, Hamline 2001, has formed
Guenther-Pal Law LLC, 4650 W. Spencer St., Appleton,
focusing on family law, estate planning and probate, and mediation.
Ronald G. Poquette, Tulane 1991, Sarah M.
Donnellan, Seattle Univ. 1993, and Samuel P.
Schlewitz, Memphis 2003, have formed Poquette,
Donnellan & Schlewitz Law LLC, 306 S. Barstow St., Suite
200, Eau Claire, and continue to focus on Social Security disability,
worker’s compensation, family law, estate planning, real estate,
bankruptcy, and other matters.
Appointments, Elections
Myron L. Joseph, Case Western Reserve 1961, LL.M.
Georgetown 1967, has been appointed to the State Bar’s Senior
Lawyers Division board. He is of counsel to Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek
S.C., Milwaukee.
Jennifer Krueger, U.W. 2000, has been elected
secretary of the Madison Children’s Museum board. She is a
shareholder with the Madison office of Murphy Desmond S.C. and focuses
on business transactional law.
Bradley W. Raaths, Marquette 1999, has been appointed
president and managing partner of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., with
offices in Madison and metropolitan Milwaukee. His practice focuses on
complex business transaction matters.

Lawrence G. Albrecht, Valparaiso 1973, was a
contributing author on human rights to “International Legal
Developments in Review 2010,” 45 The International Lawyer

Ann K. Comer, U.W.
1983, received a 2011 WCREW Leadership Award from the Wisconsin
Commercial Real Estate Women, in honor of her significant contribution
to the real estate industry and for being a role model and mentor for
other women in the industry. She is a partner in the Milwaukee office of
Quarles & Brady LLP and focuses in commercial real estate and
finance.
The Milwaukee Bar Association Foundation is the
inaugural recipient of the National Conference of Bar
Foundations/LexisNexis Partnerships for Success Award, in recognition of
the foundation’s leadership in establishing the Milwaukee Justice
Center.
Emily Dudak Taylor, Tulane 2005, has been accepted
into the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. She practices with the
Law Center for Children & Families, Madison, whose areas of
concentration include adoption, surrogacy, foster parents’ rights,
divorce, life and estate planning, and LGBT family law.
Pro Bono, Public Service
Becky Orvick, U.W. 1997, and Melissa
Warner, U.W. 2001, spearheaded the seventh annual golf outing
of By Women For Women, which raised funds to benefit the Madison
affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Breast Cancer Recovery.
Both attorneys are in the business practice group of Axley Brynelson
LLP, Madison.
Volunteers from Godfrey & Kahn S.C. helped clear
invasive species from a section of the Ice Age Trail in Verona in
June.
Sheltering Animals of Abuse Victims (SAAV), a Madison-based
organization, received the 2011 Domestic Abuse Intervention Services
Community Service Award. SAAV’s founders are Pamela
Hart, U.W. 2002, and Megan Senatori, U.W.
2001. Hart is with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Cotati, Calif.
