Jennifer L. Anderson, U.W. 1999, has joined Heuer 
Law Offices S.C., Milwaukee, and focuses exclusively on creditors' 
rights and collections. She previously was with Kershek Law Offices.
Philip Ankel, U.W. 1994, has become export control 
attaché for the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and 
Security, Hong Kong. He previously was a senior attorney in the Bureau's 
Office of Chief Counsel.
Dana R. (Zickerman) Bartocci, U.W. 2001 cum laude, 
has joined Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand LLP, Minneapolis, as 
professional development coordinator.
Swapna Deshpande, U.W. 2006, has joined Murphy 
Desmond S.C., Madison, as an associate and focuses on bankruptcy, 
business law, and civil litigation.
Thomas M. Domer, U.W. 1983, has been promoted to 
adjunct professor at Marquette Law School, where he teaches the worker's 
compensation course. His practice with Domer Law, Milwaukee, is limited 
to representing injured workers in worker's compensation matters.
Christine C. Duval-Senty, Hamline 1997, has been 
promoted to senior director of legal services and administration at Dean 
Health Plan Inc., Madison. She previously was director of legal 
services.
Matthew S. Geimer, U.W. 2005 cum laude, has joined 
Geimer Law Offices S.C., Green Bay, and focuses on elder law, estate 
planning, and probate.
Arthur Gollwitzer III, U.W. 1994 cum laude, has 
joined the Chicago office of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as a 
partner in the intellectual property litigation practice group. He 
previously was an assistant United States attorney in the Southern 
District of New York.
David B. Carr, Marquette 2006, and Edward B. 
Witte, Vermont 1989 cum laude, have joined the Milwaukee office 
of Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan LLP. Carr is an associate and focuses on 
litigation. Witte is a partner in the environmental law group and 
previously was with Foley & Lardner LLP. Jesús J. 
Villa, Duke 1998, has been promoted to partner and focuses on 
employment law.

Christopher Duesing, Drake 1995, and Brenda 
Tremble, Marquette 1994, have been elected shareholders in 
Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. Cafferty is with the Racine office,

secretary of the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors, Washington, 
D.C., and is the first woman to hold this position. She previously was 
chief counsel for ethics and federal requirements.
Patricia J. Kaeding, Chicago 1992, has joined GE 
Healthcare, Waukesha, as senior regulatory counsel for global 
operations. She previously was with the U.S. Food & Drug 
Administration and Godfrey & Kahn S.C.
Connie Korth, Marquette 2002, has joined the 
Milwaukee office of Gardner Carton & Douglas LLP as an associate and 
focuses on labor and employment counseling and litigation.
Christopher R. LaBrie, Pettit 2003, has joined 
Consigny, Andrews, Hemming & Grant S.C., Janesville, as an

Thomas Lange, Marquette 2005, has joined Kirchner

Awards, Degrees, Honors
DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., with offices in 
Madison and the metro Milwaukee area, was named one of the top three law 
firms statewide by readers of Corporate Report Wisconsin 
magazine.
Howard W. Bremer, U.W. 1949, received the Jefferson 
Award from the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association in June. 
The award is presented annually to one outstanding contributor to 
intellectual property law in the United States. Bremer, patent counsel 
emeritus at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, Madison, was 
recognized for his influence on technology transfer between universities 
and private companies.
Six attorneys with the Madison office of Michael Best & Friedrich 
LLP were named to the "InBusiness Executive Register" by Greater 
Madison InBusiness magazine in honor of their professional and 
community involvement. Recognized attorneys are Linda H.
