Setting up "Support Staff Access"

​Giving your staff "Support Staff Access" allows your staff to bypass the CAPTCHA requirements for Lawyer search and opens access to much of the members-only content on WisBar. Bypassing CAPTCHA alone is a time saver, but designated support staff will also receive access to forMembers content, which includes the use of the WisBar Legal Research tools. It does not give access to Fastcase Advanced Search, locked Sections/Divisions/Committees content or special group-only content.

  1. Log in with your State Bar member login (only members have access to the myStaff area). Navigate to myStateBar.


  2. Navigate to myStaff.


  3. On this page, you will see a list all of the associates that we have on file for your company. Click on the “Grant” button to grant your support staff access and “Revoke” to revoke access. Support staff with existing access will have an expiration date. As the expiration date approaches, a “Renew” button will appear, which can be used to renew their access. Otherwise, their access will terminate the day after the expiration date.


  4. If a support staff member was not listed in your staff listing, you can add them by clicking on the “Add Additional Support Staff” button.


  5. Enter your staff member’s name and email address. Please note that each support staff member must have a unique email address. The system will not allow multiple accounts with the same email address.


  6. After you click on the “Add Account” button, you will be prompted to send the staff member an email informing them of their new account. The email will contain details about finalizing their account setup. You will then need to go back to Step 3 and click on the “Grant” button to give them access.
