Husch Blackwell, a full service law firm, has an immediate opening in its Milwaukee office for a Commercial Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience. This position will have a reduced billable-hour requirement and a flexible schedule. This is not a partner or associate-track position.
The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation including, but not limited to, experience conducting investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, participating in mediation, and extensive communication with clients. Experience in the commercial insurance sector, specifically insurance coverage disputes, is strongly preferred.
The candidate must have an excellent academic record, stellar writing skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates must have a Wisconsin bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
