    Seminars Help You Comply with New Rules of Professional Conduct and New Trust Account Rules

    Attend Legal Ethics 2007, cosponsored by State Bar CLE and the Professional Ethics Committee, to confidently face potential ethical challenges. Presenters will cover compliance with the new rules, conflicts of interest, and more. The live half-day seminar, 8:30 a.m. - 12:05 p.m., is on Oct. 18 in Madison (offered simultaneously via Webcast) and Oct. 19 in Milwaukee. The video seminar is scheduled for the morning and afternoon sessions on Nov. 13 and Dec. 13. The program will be submitted for up to 4.0 CLE credits, including 4 EPR credits.     The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) also will present a half-day Trust Account Management Seminar to give lawyers and law office staff very basic, practical information about managing trust accounts. The seminar will cover the new trust account rule, give hands-on practice in trust account recordkeeping, and show how to properly safeguard funds belonging to clients and third parties. The seminar is approved for 3.5 EPR hours; tuition is $25. The live seminar is scheduled for Oct. 26, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Comfort Inn, 4822 E. Washington Ave., Madison.
