President's Message

Following the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, we have a new reality and we have to respond. The State Bar of Wisconsin has begun to respond, but in the months and years that follow, our response will be different. As the legal profession leads public discourse on balancing public safety and civil liberties, as we work to foster public trust and confidence in our system, the State Bar continues to provide lawyers with pertinent tools, services, and programs to assist lawyers in their practices and beyond.

Attorney Alphabetical Roster

This section lists the addresses, telephone and fax numbers, email addresses, and business affiliations of lawyers and judges admitted to practice by the Wisconsin Supreme Court and in good standing as of Dec. 7, 2001.

Wisconsin Law Firms and Corporations

Here you'll find a list of all Wisconsin law firms and corporations with corporate counsel, with their addresses, telephone and fax numbers as of Dec. 7, 2001. (Tab 1)

Attorney Biographies

In this section, attorneys seeking referrals or opportunities to serve as co-counsel list their qualifications, experience, and areas of practice. The section is organized geographically by Wisconsin cities, and by state for nonresidents. (Blue section, no tab)

Look up the county seat of any Wisconsin county and the county in which any town or city is located. (Tab 2)

You'll find considerable information about each circuit court, including judges, clerks, registrars of deeds and probate, district attorneys, public defenders, child support officials, and more. When you need some quick information on the law in a particular substantive or geographic area, turn to this section.
