Supreme Court Appoints 18 to
Lawyer Investigative Committees
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has made 18 appointments to the district
investigative committees that are part of the lawyer regulation system.
New committee members in District 1 (Kenosha
area) are: Paul G. Aldige, retired Town of Delavan chief of police,
and Gail Gentz, Kenosha County clerk of circuit court.
New committee members in District 2 (Milwaukee
area) are: Patrick E. Doyle, a Milwaukee Police Department detective;
Shel Gendelman, a Milwaukee businessman and realtor who served
as director of the Military Police Criminal Investigation Detachment;
Margadette M. Demet, Marquette 1950, a partner in Demet & Demet
S.C., Milwaukee, practicing in estate planning, probate, family, elder,
and disability law, and president of the Milwaukee Bar Foundation; Anne
Berleman Kearney, Harvard 1990, a senior associate in the litigation
department of Foley & Lardner, Milwaukee; and R. Jeffrey Krill,
U.W. 1981, a partner in Gonzalez, Saggio, and Harlan LLP, Milwaukee, focusing
on commercial litigation, and an adjunct professor at Marquette University
Law School.
New committee members in District 5 (La
Crosse area) are: Dianne R. Morrison, a lecturer in the Department
of Finance and Accounting at U.W.- La Crosse; George Parke III, Drake
1975, president of Parke O'Flaherty Ltd., La Crosse; and J. David Rice,
U.W. 1970, a partner in Johns, Flaherty & Rice S.C., Sparta, emphasizing
civil litigation, mediation/arbitration, and family law.
New committee members in District 9 (Madison
area) are: William F. Bauer, Missouri-Columbia 1977, a shareholder
in Coyne, Niess, Schultz, Becker & Bauer S.C., Madison, focusing on civil
litigation; Paul M. Downey Sr., a substitute teacher in the DeForest
School District and business consultant with Downey & Associates; Bruce
F. Ehlke, U.W. 1968, a partner in Shneidman, Myers, Dowling, Blumenfield,
Ehlke, Hawks & Domer, practicing in labor and employment relations law,
administrative law, and work-related disabilities; Sabrina M. Gentile,
assistant director for governmental relations with the Wisconsin Farm
Bureau Federation; Rudolph C. Hecht, M.D., a family practitioner
with the U.W. Medical School, the Sinai-Samaritan Medical Center, and
the Samaritan Family Care Center; James R. Jansen, U.W. 1982, a
partner in Habush, Habush, Davis & Rottier S.C., Madison, and a civil
trial specialist certified by the National Board of Trial Advocates; Richard
J. Langer, U.W. 1974, a partner in Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Madison,
practicing in estate planning and administration, trusts, and marital
property; and H. Rupert Theobald, Ph.D., retired chief of the Legislative
Reference Bureau.
