    William Ryan Drew, Marquette 1996, was honored by Milwaukee's Irish and Italian communities at their Winter Gala for his outstanding public service career and his dedication to helping the less fortunate. Drew is of counsel with O'Neil, Cannon & Hollman S.C., Milwaukee.

    Alexander "Sandie" Pendleton, Minnesota 1987, has been appointed to the Wisconsin Technology and Entrepreneurs Council, which promotes the development of science- and technology-based business in Wisconsin. Pendleton is a shareholder with Cook & Franke S.C., Milwaukee.

    The Portage County Bar Association has elected these officers: president - David A. Ray; president-elect - Nadine I. Davy; and secretary/treasurer - Rick A. Flugaur; all of Stevens Point.

    The Rusk, Sawyer, Washburn County Bar Association has elected the following officers: president - Sean P. Duffy, Hayward; and treasurer - Frederick A. Henderson, Ladysmith.

    The Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers has elected these officers: president - M. Angela Dentice, Wauwatosa; president-elect - Keith R. Clifford, Madison; vice president - Lynn R. Laufenberg, Milwaukee; secretary - Bruce R. Bachhuber, Green Bay; and treasurer - David M. Skoglind, Milwaukee.

    Tod B. Linstroth, U.W. 1973, has been appointed to the Wisconsin Technology and Entrepreneurs Council. Linstroth, a partner with Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Madison, practices in commercial and mortgage lending, refinancings and workouts, corporate acquisitions, and mergers and financings. He is chair of the firm's management committee.

    The Wisconsin District Attorneys Association has elected these officers: president - Vincent R. Biskupic, Appleton; vice president - Scott L. Horne, La Crosse; and secretary/treasurer - David J. Wambach, Jefferson.

    Matthew S. MacLean, Vanderbilt 1998, has been appointed to the Board of Bar Examiners Review Committee. MacLean is in the litigation practice group of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Milwaukee, handling ERISA and employee benefits, insurance, general commercial, personal injury, and products liability litigation matters.
