    Seize the Future: Bar debates multidisciplinary practice


    Should lawyers be permitted to practice in firms owned or managed by nonlawyers and to share fees with nonlawyers?



    The Board of Governors will vote on the resolution at its May 5 meeting, immediately following the Annual Convention in Lake Geneva.

    Member input gathered through a variety of means, including statewide roundtable discussions, will help guide the board.

     

       

     


    Following the State Bar's December "Seize the Future" Conference, the Executive Committee drafted a resolution to allow, among other things, attorney participation in multidisciplinary practices.
