State Bar CLE Books Revises Marital Property Classification
Guide
Wisconsin's Marital Property Act has been in effect for more than 12
years, but classifying marital property remains confusing to many
practitioners. In 1986, State Bar CLE Books published A Guide to
Property Classification Under Wisconsin's Marital Property Act. In
January 1999, State Bar CLE Books released a revised edition of the
guide, titled The Marital Property Classification Handbook,
which reflects the developing marital property classification case law
and fine-tuned statutes. Prof. Howard Erlanger and attorneys Linda
Roberson and Richard Langer revised the Guide.
