Comment

As a current officer of the Nonresident Lawyers Division and president of a local chapter, my goal has been to increase the value of continued State Bar of Wisconsin membership to the nonresident Wisconsin lawyer. This value takes the form of developing greater networking potential among other local nonresident Wisconsin lawyers. It also takes the form of building stronger relationships between practicing Wisconsin lawyers and those of us who have affection and appreciation for Wisconsin traditions, but who practice outside the state of Wisconsin. Candidate for Young Lawyers Division president-elect is to make continued Wisconsin Bar membership "user friendly" by identifying and removing barriers that might discourage nonresident Wisconsin Bar members from continuing their Wisconsin Bar membership.
