    Primary Election Day - Tuesday, August 9, 2022

    The Wisconsin Primary Election is Tuesday, August 9. Don't forget to vote!

    August 8, 2022 – It’s that time again! Tomorrow is the 2022 Wisconsin partisan primary election. Voters will choose candidates to represent their preferred party in the November general election. Primary races will include:

    • Governor
    • Lieutenant Governor
    • Attorney General
    • Secretary of State
    • State Treasurer
    • United States Senate
    • United States Congress
    • State Senate*
    • State Assembly
    • Other county and municipal races such as Clerk of Court, Sheriff, etc.*

    Don’t forget that you can register to vote on the day of polling in Wisconsin, but to do so you will need to show a proper photo ID. Acceptable forms of photo ID include a Wisconsin DOT–issued driver’s license or ID card and a US passport.
