April 9, 2020 – The Wisconsin Supreme Court yesterday issued an order to allow notices of appearances, motions, and responses to motions filed in the Court of Appeals or the Wisconsin Supreme Court to be filed electronically by email through May 22.

The order notes that documents should be filed in PDF format and emailed to clerk@wicourts.gov. “Appellate filings other than notices of appearance, motions, and responses to motions shall continue to be filed in the usual manner, subject to this court’s order dated April 2, 2020,” the order states (April 2 Order here). The order reminds parties that non-emergency motions are discouraged.
