    Gov. Walker Seeks Judicial Applicants for Milwaukee, Rock Counties

    Dec. 18, 2017 – Gov. Scott Walker is seeking applicants for judicial appointment to the circuit court bench in Milwaukee and Rock counties.

    The Milwaukee County Circuit Court appointee will replace outgoing Judge John D. DiMotto, whose resignation is effective Feb. 27, 2018. The new appointee, should he or she choose to run, would be up for election in April 2019.

    The Rock County Circuit Court appointee will replace outgoing Judge James P. Daley, whose resignation is effective March 2, 2018. The new appointee, should he or she choose to run, would be up for election in April 2019.

    · Cover Letter

    · Resume (not exceeding two pages)

    · Two Writing Samples

    · Judicial Application: found on Gov. Walker’s website at https://walker.wi.gov/apply/judicial-application.

    Application materials for both vacancies must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29, 2017. Following submission via email to govjudicialappointments@wisconsin.gov, you will receive an email confirming your application was received and explaining the next steps.
