    Order 16-03: Amendments to SCR 40.075 and SCR 22.28 Regarding Conditional Admission

    On Sept. 15, 2016, the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners filed a rule petition to amend SCR 40.075, the “conditional admission” rule, and to amend SCR 22.28 to include a mechanism to reinstate a lawyer whose license to practice law was suspended or revoked for failure to comply with the terms of conditional admission.

    ORDER ISSUED: March 21, 2017

    DISPOSITION: Approved with certain changes; effective July 1, 2017.
