    Gov. Walker Seeks Applicants for Waukesha County District Attorney

    Nov. 14, 2014 – Governor Scott Walker is seeking applicants for Waukesha County District Attorney to fill the vacancy left vacant by the election of Brad Schimel as the Wisconsin Attorney General.

    The new appointee will serve out the remainder of the unexpired term and will be up for election in November 2016. 

    To apply, applicants should submit a D.A. Application, found on Gov. Walker’s website at www.walker.wi.gov (select the “DA Applicants” button, after clicking “apply to serve” at the right-hand side of the page), together with:

      • a cover letter;

      • a short resume;

      • a list of three to four references.

    Complete application materials should be submitted via email to: GovDistrictAttorney@wisconsin.gov.

    Resumes, cover letters, and applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014.
