    Don’t Miss: Final Attorney General Candidate Debate at State Bar Center

    Oct. 21, 2014 – The State Bar of Wisconsin is partnering with WISC-TV and WisPolitics to host a debate between Wisconsin Attorney General candidates Brad Schimel and Susan Happ on Wed., Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at the State Bar Center in Madison. WISC-TV’s Eric Franke will moderate the debate, which will stream live at

    Happ is currently the District Attorney for Jefferson County. Schimel is currently the District Attorney for Waukesha County. Both will debate before a live audience. To attend the debate as an audience member, please call (800) 728-7788 or email by Monday, Oct. 27. In your email, please use "Attorney General Debate 2014" as your subject line and include the following information:​

    The debate will be televised three times on Sunday, Nov. 2, airing in Madison on WISC-TV at 10 a.m. and TVM at 1 p.m. and in La Crosse on WKBT-TV at 5 p.m.

    About the Candidates

    Susan Happ graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1998. Upon graduation, she practiced law for six years at Monogue & Witt S.C. before starting her own law practice in 2005.     Brad Schimel graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1990. Upon graduation, he served as a prosecutor in the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office.
