    Nominate a Mentor or Outstanding Young Lawyer – Deadline is Jan. 20

    Now is the time to honor a mentor or young lawyer who is doing outstanding work. Award nominations are due Jan. 20.

    Jan. 18, 2017 – Know a mentor who helped you kick off your career? Or know a young lawyer making a difference for someone else?

    Nominations are due January 20 for two State Bar of Wisconsin Young Lawyers Division awards: The new Outstanding Mentor Award and the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.

    Outstanding Mentor Award

    This new award initiated by the Young Lawyers Division will honor those who mentor young lawyers.

    The award pays tribute to a Wisconsin-licensed attorney who has made an exceptional contribution to the life and career of a young attorney.

    Outstanding Young Lawyer Award

    The Young Lawyers Division is seeking nominations for the Eighth Annual Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. The award honors a young lawyer who has made an impact in his or her practice area, service to the bar, and service to the community.

    Nominations are due January 20 – don’t miss this opportunity to honor a lawyer who is making a difference.

    The State Bar will honor the award winners at the Young Lawyers Conference in Green Bay on March 24, 2017, and at the State Bar’s Annual Meeting and Conference in Wisconsin Dells on June 15, 2017.
