    On July 15, 2022, the director of the Office of Lawyer Regulation and its Trust Account Program administrator filed a rule petition seeking to amend SCR 20:1.15 (Safekeeping property; trust accounts and fiduciary accounts) and SCR 20:1.0 (Terminology) to permit electronic transactions in lawyer trust accounts and to make other related changes to the rules governing lawyer trust accounts.

    ORDER ISSUED: Jan. 6, 2023

    DISPOSITION: Public hearing scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
