    Final Order 21-02: Process by which State Bar Members Qualify to Transfer from Inactive to Active Status

    On June 8, 2021, the State Bar of Wisconsin’s then-President Kathleen A. Brost, then-President-Elect Cheryl F. Daniels, and Past President Jill Kastner filed a rule petition asking the court to amend SCR 31.06 relating to CLE requirements for the transfer from inactive to active membership status.

    ORDER ISSUED: Dec. 17, 2021

    DISPOSITION: Effective Jan. 1, 2022, the Board of Bar Examiners is directed to repeal SCR Chapter 31, Appendix, Rules of Board of Bar Examiners, CLE 3.015. SCR 31.06 is repealed and recreated.
