    The Wisconsin Judicial Council petitioned the court to amend Wis. Stat. § 806.02 to provide parties filing counterclaims or cross claims with the right to seek default judgment when an opposing party fails to serve a timely reply to a counterclaim or answer to a cross claim.

    ORDER ISSUED: August 27, 2018

    DISPOSITION: Public hearing Oct. 11, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. in the Supreme Court Room in the State Capitol, Madison.
