June 6, 2012 – Email bounce backs due to oversized attachments are very frustrating and can waste valuable time. In this video, State Bar Practice Management Advisor Nerino Petro offers solutions to overcome this problem. “Service providers will allow you to upload your files to their server,” said Petro. “In turn, the service provider offers you a link, which you send to your recipient. The recipient downloads the files directly from the link.”
There are several service providers available that offer both free and paid services depending on the size of your attachments.
The State Bar uses YouSendIt.com, as it meets necessary privacy requirements, says Petro. To find other services or for more information, search for “big Internet attachments,” or contact Petro at practicehelp@wisbar or (800) 444-9404, ext. 6012.
