Feb. 25, 2026 – The Wisconsin Law Foundation seeks grant applications for charitable or educational programs in Wisconsin that promote greater public understanding of the law and the improvement of the administration of justice, or are an educational program or project that directly affects Wisconsin residents.
Thanks to donations from State Bar of Wisconsin members, the Foundation annually provides high-impact Truman Q. McNulty grants of up to $3,000 each to projects that directly affect Wisconsin residents.
In 2025, the Foundation awarded $28,000 in grants to 12 organizations that help children and families, support teen court programs, assist those who can’t afford legal representation, help families keep their homes, and offer legal assistance to self-represented litigants with limited access to justice.
Find out more about past recipients on the Foundation’s webpage and in the Aug. 13, 2025, issue of InsideTrack.
Grant applications must support at least one aspect of our mission:
promote public understanding of the law;
improve the administration of justice;
provide law-related public service.
More details about the grants are available on the McNulty Grant Guidelines and Instructions webpage.
