The situation leaves many firms asking, “Why?” The answer is one that law firms should pay attention to if they want to remain competitive.

<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">November 13-17 is <a href="http://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/about-wisdot/newsroom/news-rel/110917-protect-hwys.aspx">Traffic Incident Response Week</a>, a nationwide effort to raise awareness of the importance of emergency responders and the work they do serving their communities. </p><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">Lawyers can give back to these responders and their families by volunteering for <a href="http://www.wisbar.org/formembers/probono/Pages/Wills-for-Heroes.aspx">Wills for Heroes</a>. The program serves first responders through free legal clinics designed to assist them with basic estate planning documents.
