<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">When you call the State Bar Center, you’ll likely speak with one of our Member Records & Information Specialists within the Customer Service Department.
</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">This department is the front line for all calls that come in to the State Bar. Our specialists are the initial contact point for providing outstanding customer service to the public and members.
</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">On average, the Customer Service Department takes 120 calls a day. The call volume doubles in May when dues mail out, and it spikes again at the end of June when the dues deadline approaches.
</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">In addition to phone calls, the department receives an average of 50 emails a day, striving to reply within 60 minutes. Our specialists are responsible for the integrity of every member record and attorney license, making sure information is entered correctly and in a timely manner.
</p><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 7px;">On top of that, the Member Records & Information Specialists know about every program and product that the State Bar coordinates or produces. They take phone orders, enter seminar registrations, answer membership questions, and help with licensing status changes.
