    Feb. 1, 2012 – State Bar of Wisconsin members and their office staff can receive up to a $550 discount (read the inset box to find out how to qualify) for the 2012 ABA TECHSHOW®, from March 29-31 in Chicago.

    On March 29, State Bar of Wisconsin Law Practice Management Advisor Nerino Petro will present “Tablet Wars” in the Mobile/Smart Phone track. On March 30, he will present “Cloud Tools for Solo and Firms: What’s Out There?” in the Cloud Computing track, and “The Gear Report – Tools, Toys, Gadgets & Gizmos” in the E-Discovery/Advanced Topics track.

    Keynote speaker, Ben Stein, has an expansive career as a lawyer, writer, economist, actor, TV personality/game show host. Best known for playing a boring teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Stein's career accomplishments include working at the Federal Trade Commission, lawyer and speech writer for Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, and columnist for The Wall Street Journal.

    If there are fewer than 10 State Bar of Wisconsin members on the list, Johnson will contact you by Feb. 13 so you can take advantage early bird discount (which expires Feb. 17) and an additional $155 discount for being a State Bar member.
